Index to permits for use and occupancy of New York State canal lands, 1975-1985.

This series consists of index cards created by the Real Estate Division of the Dept. of Transportation to facililitate access to permits for the use and occupancy of New York State canal lands (series B1790). The cards present, in an abstracted form, similar information to that contained in the permits. Information transcribed on the cards includes name and address of permittee, date of permit, Dept. of Transportation region, permit number, permit costs (issuance, per year, renewal, and amendment), a brief description of the action approved by the permit, and if the permit was cancelled.The cards are arranged by DOT region and geographical locations within the region.
